Another Christmas Gift Idea

Hey guys, not sure if anyone is still thinking of getting me a christmas gift, but if you are I have a couple ideas for you. These are things I really love and am hoping to get by myself later on if no one buys them for me. So these would be great gifts if you need ideas. :)

Planet Earth DVD set

This series is amazing. The cinematography is the best there is and the editing helps to make the stories incredibly interesting. If you haven't watched these on discovery channel yet, you should try to catch them. Definitely worth the time. :)

Creating Motion Graphics Book

This is part of a series of books that this husband and wife crew have been writing. They are motion graphics artists out in California and they have written a series of books on after effects and motion graphics. I get sucked into these books so fast. They are a lot of fun and they help me with my career as well.

Out in New Orleans having wam building meetings for a couple days.
Actully a lot of fun. Been pretty proactive on giving feedback and
volunteering subjects to talk about. Good learning expeience. :-)

Living in Antartica

This is a photo taken by someone down in Antarctica. It was a minute long exposure I believe. Such a cool place exists out there. A fun feeling don't you think. It's still one of my goals on my list to do some kind of documentary down in Antarctica. It would be a once in a lifetime trip. I love traveling to places I've never been before. Gives you such a sense of exploration. :)

Downtown exploration

Had some fun with the camera downtown last night, just wanted to see
what eveybody else thought of these :-)

Interview delayed

Well the first interview got delayed to the backend of the day so it
looks like I have nothing to do for the next 2 hours. So I think I am
going to go get lunch. :-)

Open my eyes

I just went and saw "Across the Universe" by julie taymor. I would
have to say that I haven't seen a movie that has left so inspired and
blown away since I saw the matrix or v for vendetta. The use of the
beatles songs to to tell this story of a guy from Liverpool who has
his world turned upside down when he goes looking for his father in
America was absolutely amazing. I feel like the movie helped me
realize where my art has gone and where I need to take it now that
I've let slip away from me. Yeah that's seriously corny, but I feel so
inspired and creative right now that I just need to express that.
There have been some parts of myself and my art that I haven't been
able to get myself to express out of fear that I may fail or even
disappoint myself with. I'm thinking I should just let that go and
create what I see and feel. I may surprise myself.
