Living in Antartica

Image courtesy of {wikipedia}

This is a photo taken by someone down in Antarctica. It was a minute long exposure I believe. Such a cool place exists out there. A fun feeling don't you think. It's still one of my goals on my list to do some kind of documentary down in Antarctica. It would be a once in a lifetime trip. I love traveling to places I've never been before. Gives you such a sense of exploration. :)

Downtown Aquarium Photos

Here are the pictures from the snorkeling we did today and the walk we took through the aquarium. We had a lot of fun. Naeiri got real inspired to get her open water certification for diving, so her and I are going to start diving together. :)

iPhone Fund

OK, I've been debating and debating, and I've finally realized apple had me at Hello, lol. I am totally convinced I want an iPhone. But its a bit too expensive for me to pay all on my own. So to fix that little problem, I figured I could come up with fun thing to do for my birthday. So instead of a gift or gift card to best buy or anything like that, I am hoping (this is all dependent on you actually wanting to get me a gift ;-) everyone could contribute a donation to the "Help Emrys get an iPhone fund" for my birthday. The 8 GB version dropped down to $399, so this is how much I would want to raise, including however much money I can spare to get there. Hope this works. lol, cause I'm totally convinced I want it now. ;-)

Underwater Sculpture Gallery

I swear I am going to go diving in this place one day . : )

"The Underwater Sculpture Gallery in Grenada, West Indies is a project started in May 2006 by sculptor Jason Taylor, with the support of the Grenadian Ministry of Tourism and Culture. This is a unique artistic enterprise, celebrating Caribbean culture and highlighting environmental processes, such as coral reef re-generation. The Underwater Sculpture Park also explores the ever-changing relationships of Art and the environment, whilst providing a unique and fascinating marine park for scuba diving and snorkelling."

Arizona Trip

Wanted to show some pics that I took while out in Phoenix this Memorial Weekend.

This was just behind Kirsta's place. Really awesome road. Shows the Mountains off in the distance. I think they're called superstition something, lol.

Cool house on the same road. Dad called Phoenix the land of cookie cutter development. It all does look quite the same, but at least it is good design. :)

Us before we got the flat tire on the interstate.

My sister Fiona, Kirsta's son tyler, and my Half-brother Chris.

Everyone sitting at the table playing Texas Holdem. It doesn't look like it from the picture, but it was actually a really intense night of playing cards, lol.

I took this on the flight back from phoenix. Turns out Colorado had some snow fall while I was gone. Quite a contrast from the 110 average down in Phoenix. : )
This trip was definitely a great one. I know for myself that I was able to go with an open mind and try to just be myself. We seem to have had a great time, and breakdown some of those barriers we had in the past. Some things still remain to be worked through, but its on its way to
becoming that which I hoped it would. It's interesting how short trips can change so much, and put a lot of your own life into perspective. More soon. :)
