Downtown Aquarium Photos

Here are the pictures from the snorkeling we did today and the walk we took through the aquarium. We had a lot of fun. Naeiri got real inspired to get her open water certification for diving, so her and I are going to start diving together. :)

Holding the Sun

Isn't this picture awesome? I found it through one of the "Sunshine" movie sites. They have a flickr page set-up to find some of the best sun shots. This one really caught my eye. I love the subtext in an image like this. It's how we all like to feel isn't it? You could take it two ways at least too. (1) Caring the weight of the world/sun, or (2) Having the ability to your world into your own hands. I agree with the later. I am going to try and see if I can do some of these photos as well. Should be fun ;)

Arizona Trip

Wanted to show some pics that I took while out in Phoenix this Memorial Weekend.

This was just behind Kirsta's place. Really awesome road. Shows the Mountains off in the distance. I think they're called superstition something, lol.



Cool house on the same road. Dad called Phoenix the land of cookie cutter development. It all does look quite the same, but at least it is good design. :)

I took this on the flight back from phoenix. Turns out Colorado had some snow fall while I was gone. Quite a contrast from the 110 average down in Phoenix. : )

This trip was definitely a great one. I know for myself that I was able to go with an open mind and try to just be myself. We seem to have had a great time, and breakdown some of those barriers we had in the past. Some things still remain to be worked through, but its on its way to

becoming that which I hoped it would. It's interesting how short trips can change so much, and put a lot of your own life into perspective. More soon. :)

New Phone

Just testing out my new phone and its camera. I bought the new blackjack today and its pretty cool. The camera on this thing is amazing. : )

Nice Weather

When I first saw these clouds I thought they were forming a funnel cloud. Pretty cool. :)

New Orleans and Bourbon Street

Downtown from I-12 I think. Best overall pic I could take at the time.



This is the 9th ward I believe. I was kind of mixed up as to where I was. You can see how much devastation is still left in these areas. This is how most of the southern part of the city looks. There were other parts that I saw later that had full roofs covered in moss. Amazing.



These are of the Supreme Court building in the french quarter. Burbon street is only two blocks over from here. Beautiful building. My company is helping to do the restoration of the basement after the flooding did quite a lot of damage.

Baton Rouge Trip

I am going to be in Baton Rouge all this week shooting an event and some job sites for the company. Should be fun. I will be there for about 3 and 1/2 days and about a full days travel time because of lay overs. That kinda sucks but its not too bad. I love traveling so I'll have fun. Plus it will give me a chance to catch up on some reading. I will be bringing a Sony VX2000 camera, the canon SLR still camera and a laptop so I shoukld be able to do some blogging while I am there. Hopefully I get some good shots. I will get a chance to see Downtonw New Orleans on Wednesday, so that will be awesome. I don't think I will be able to get to Burbon street or the french quarter, but I will do what I can. : )
